Brente mandler er kjempe godt og enkelt å lage hvis du bare har tålmodigheten til det for størsteparten av tiden brukes til røring så mandlene ikke brenner fast. Idag lager jeg brente mandler for adventsaksjonen. Det er en aksjon dannet i samarbeid mellom Norges Unge Katolikker og Caritas der man hvert år har et måland som man skal hjelpe. I år er det DR Kongo og pengene går til å bekjempe fattigdom og sult. Vi skal ha stand på torgallmenningen etterpå og selge blant annet kaffe, kaker og mandler. Også går vi rundt med bøsser for å samle inn penger. Dersom du bor i Bergen, kom ned til byen og støtt oss!<br />

Nå er det lenge siden jeg har blogget! Siden jeg blogget sist har jeg fått meg jobb og mye annet skjer utenfor skolen i tillegg til skolen så jeg har ikke hatt tid eller motivasjon til å blogge. Men idag fikk jeg plutselig skikkelig julestemning da jeg innså at jeg faktisk bare har en vurdering igjen før jul. Jeg begynte å fantasere om alt det jeg har lyst til å bake og da hadde jeg ikke annet valg enn å dra til butikken og kjøpe ingredienser til bakeorgien min (hihi). Elt deigen i en kjøkkenmaskin på lav styrke og spe i litt melk helt til alt er brukt opp. Kutt smøren i terninger og ha i etterhvert som hver terning har blitt eltet inn i deigen. Øk styrken på maskinen. Kjør helt til deigen er smidig og glatt før du legger den til heving i 1 time.</div>

Idag vil jeg dele med dere en vietnamesisk oppskrift på fritert pitabrød. Den spises vanligvis med banh bo, direkte oversatt "ku kake" som er en type dampet småkake, men den smaker også godt alene. Jeg skal senere legge ut en oppskrift på kukake, så imens kan dere kose dere med pitabrødene.<br />

Hei idag ville jeg prøve på noe gresk og søsteren min hadde en super oppskrift hun fikk på skolen, så da var det ikke vanskelig å bestemme middagen vår idag. Moussaka er på en måte grekernes svar på lasagne og retten pleier å inneholde lammekjøtt og aubergine. I denne oppskriften så har jeg brukt kjøttdeig og poteter istedenfor.<br />

Idag er det fetetirsdag, siste dag før fasten og da skal man spise skikkelig kosemat for å fylle opp før den 40 dager lange fasten. Å lage suksessfull sukkerbrød er vanskelig. Først av alt så må man piske eggene stive nok. Noen mener at man skal piske i minst 15 min for at det skal være stivt, andre mener at eggedosisen er stiv nok når det går ann å skrive hele navnet ola før den første bokstaven har forsvunnet. Selv synes jeg å vende melet inn er den vanskeligste delen. Jeg får ikke til å vende melet forsiktig inn uten å få masse mellommer i røren. Uansett her har dere en super oppskrift på sukkerbrød som jeg har fått flott resultat på.<br />

Frost kaker eller cupcakes med frostingen. Hvis den er veldig flytende så legg den i kjøleskapet en liten stund så den stivner litt og miks den opp igjen. Da har den en fin konsistens.<br />

Jeg elsker peanøttsmør, det er desidert det beste pålegget jeg vet og hva kan da være bedre enn hjemmelaget peanøttsmør? Ihvertfall hvis det krever minimalt med ingredienser og utstyr? Peanøtter inneholder naturlig olje som frigjøres når man knuser det og jo mer du kjører det i foodprosessor jo mer flytende blir peanøttsmøret.<br />

Idag vil jeg dele en oppskrift på kakemenn med dere. Jeg har ikke oppdatert mye i det siste pga skolen har tatt mye av oppmerksomheten min. Det har vært siste innspurt i alle fagene før jul, men nå er det juleferie og jeg kan endelig slappe av og gjøre det jeg liker best. Dette inkluderer blant annet å bake og jeg skal nå begynne med de syv sorter til jule for det må man ha. Så det er bare å følge med på bloggen. Kakemenn er desidert favoritten min blant de syv sortene, jeg kan virkelig aldri få nok av dem. Helt utrolig at en så enkel kjeks kan smake så godt. S´mores er en dessert som man egentlig spiser på sommeren når man er på grilltur, men når det snør ute så kan det også være greit å kose seg litt med en sommerlig dessert ;)<br />

Jeg kommer fra Bergen og her kaller vi kanelboller for skillingsboller. Kanelknuter er en versjon av kanelbollen der man lager en knute på deigen og det har jeg alltid vært veldig fascinert av. Hei. Idag fikk jeg en pakke i posten fra Krydderia, en nettside som selger eksotisk krydder og andre asiatiske saker som sauser og snacks. De har ennå ikke så stort utvalg av produkter og selger for det meste bare de vanligste krydderne fra Asia, noe jeg synes var litt dumt. Nettsiden er ryddig og innbydende og det er enkelt å navigere på den. Den inneholder også oppskrifter så man får inspirasjon på hvordan man kan bruke produktene. Kjøper man dessuten over 300 kr så får man fri frakt. Så bor man langt unna en utenlandsk butikk så er dette et godt alternativ, ihvertfall hvis man skal kjøpe mye krydder på en gang. Du får levert varene dine rett hjem på døren og dessuten på kvelden på en beleilig tid. Cookin´Gloves skal samarbeide med de en stund fremover og dermed kommer det endel asiatiske oppskrifter fremover som er fra andre land enn bare Vietnam, så gled dere :D<br />

Hei idag fikk jeg 2 store goodie bags fra Tine som jeg har ventet på en stund. Jeg var en av de 20 første som kommenterte et innlegg på matbloggsentralen som handlet om ostekakekonkurransen Tine har gående nå. Da jeg kommenterte så forventet jeg å få noen små reklame greie, men da jeg dro til posthuset idag fikk jeg en stor og tung pappeske med to gedigne poser inni. I posene var det alle ingrediensene som man trenger til å lage en enkel ostekake. Dessuten fikk jeg muffinsformer, kakeform og nye produkter som tine skal lansere snart. Det er egentlig helt utrolig hva jeg fikk :o<br />

Siden jeg lagde eplemosen så har jeg hatt lyst til å bruke det i bakverk og jeg har gått rundt og drømt om eplevafler og eplesnurrer. Jeg ville at eplemosen skulle være dominerende i bakverket og følte egentlig at vafler og kanelsnurrer dekke til den friske eplesmaken. Dermed endte jeg med å bruke bolledeig som skall for eplefyllingen og ha en nøttetopping på toppen. Så resultatet ble vel en hybrid av eplepai og eplesnurrer.<br />
